I don't quite remember how I discovered this podacst, but I have binge listening all summer at the gym, picking weeds, jogging, etc. and I am now completely caught up. American History has always been a love of mine, but I am really enjoying seeing where a great deal of our culture began. Thanks Jamie and keep up the good work.

Hi Travis, It put a big smile on my face to read "I am really enjoying seeing where a great deal of our culture began".  I wish more Americans had your perspective on history.  :)Welcome to the community!

I love learning more British history, since it really is where I'm “coming from”. Specifically, English family that's been in Massachusetts since 17th century. Knowing British history helps one to feel like there are roots and a family history. And of course, this country started as a British colony.I have a question about York Minister. If you go inside, walk to back, you can pay a very small sum, and go down into a crypt. I believe that is where King Edwin was baptized (site of original wooden church). Also, I heard that Constantine the Great was proclaimed King/Caesar from there. Are this statements accurate?

Both events happened in the area.  As for whether they happened on that exact spot, however, might be based mostly upon legend.
