Hi my names Ross and I'm a Scot living in England. Really enjoy history studied at University didn't complete it for various reasons but still love the topic. The podcast has got us back into it a decent way, I love all the Roman stuff. I actually live on a Roman road. Yeah there is one at the bottom of my garden if I look out the window as I type I can see it. Its an actual road road now. I like other cool stuff like Football, Sci Fi/fantasy, computer games, books and a vast array of other things. Looking forward to engaging with the community on here.I have a Roman Villa ruin in my city, I'm going to go and visit it next Saturday so will be taking pictures when I'm there.

Welcome to the forum Ross.  Most people with an interest in history have heard of Fosse Way, Watling Street and Ermine Street, what is the name of the Roman road and villa you are lucky to have so close by?

Hi Ross.  I'm quite jealous at how easily accessible ancient sites are for you lot in the UK.  Over here in America we typically are amazed if a building is more than 25 years old.  ;)  I can't wait to see the photos of the Roman villa!Welcome to the forums!

Hey Ross!I used to live in Edinburgh, for a year or so.  Loved my time up in Alba.  What do you do now?  Which former Roman town do you live in?  Welcome!Drew

I don't live in a Roman town, I do live in a Anglo Saxon village though originally called Lukhintune- Luhha's Estate. I live on Watling street. Its at the bottom of my garden.
