Thanks for heads-up regarding the app Jamie. As instructed I have installed the app and subscribed to the show. Nice app, works like a charm although with a lot of episodes it can get a bit slow or glitchy when it loads (or at least on my phone it does as I still have 104 episodes from various shows still to listen to plus the 200+ already listened to).Episodes from any of the podcasts that were in the podcasts section on the phone automatically appeared in the app so I didn't have to do anything apart from go into each different podcast and turn on the 'subscription' and 'auto-download' buttons. Piece of cake. So now every time Jamie brings out another episode it will automatically download to my phone (3G very helpful in this case otherwise you'll be waiting a while).

Something to keep in mind for members is that right now there doesn't seem to be any way to install custom feed URL's.  I'm hoping that Apple fixes it, but for right now it seems like you'll need to use itunes or another program to get your member material.

That answers my question about the new app and the members content feed.  Hopefully they get a fix for that. Thanks for the heads up on the app, though.  I'm still trying to figure out my new iDevice and at least now I can easily find my podcasts.  Can't find anything else, but all I really need are podcasts and "Ticket to Ride," right?  Right.

I'd add in there Summoner Wars, Hero Academy, and Ascension. ;)

Uh-oh, now you've done it.  There goes any hope of getting work done in the house.  I'm grateful that Munchkin isn't available yet, otherwise… well, there's a slight chance I wouldn't show up to work at all, some days.  Gaming or cutting checks?  Tough call.

Now that I have had chance to use the app a little more I am going to have to change my statement from earlier. I found it to be incredibly slow and half the time it doesn't open the episodes I want to listen to but freezes instead or just shuts itself down. It seems to be quite temperamental so a thumbs down for this at the moment. I guess as this is new there are bound to be issues (unless it is just problematic on my phone and no one else's) so hopefully with newer releases this will be fixed.

I've been having trouble too.  I'm hoping they fix it soon since they're planning on removing Podcasts from iTunes.Oh Apple, why must you always abuse and marginalize podcasts?

I am also frustrated with the app.  I find myself almost banging on my phone to get the app to open or to get it to even respond.  I have an iPhone 4s, not the latest.  I wonder if it works better on the newest phone.  I have not bothered to complain to iTunes, yet.  I assume others have.  I hope they fix it before they remove the old way of getting podcasts, which is what I find myself relying on when the app fails.

They should re-think this idea they have about removing podcasts from iTunes.  I have an older iPhone (now strictly iPod, no more phone/data plan) and the app is not compatible.  So if there's no more podcasts in iTunes, now what?  You have to be hooked up to the internet to use the app, so no more downloading and listening in the car?  Lame.    :'(
