Hi everyone, it's so great to be here! I first discovered the podcast a few weeks ago, and since then I've been listening to as many episodes as I can a day to get caught up. Once I'm caught up I plan on becoming a member! I've really enjoyed the podcasts so far, especially the information about Roman Brittania. I'd never really read much about it before, but I was very excited to hear more about it. I'm really looking forward to hearing more about King Arthur -- the man and the legend. In my heart of hearts I hope that there really was a King Arthur and that Camelot could have really existed in some form or another.I am 26 years old and my husband, 18 month old daughter and I live in Northern Manitoba, Canada. I run a home-based daycare so that I can stay home with my daughter and still make money, but my real passion is writing, and I'm currently working on my first historical novel, set in Northern Ontario in the days of the gold rush. I love histroy, especially British history -- in fact I love all things British, from television like Sherlock, Being Human (before it got all messed up) and even Coronation Street (my guilty pleasure) to awesome British bands like Mumford & Sons and The Wombats, to British food (not gross, amazing!) and especially history. I am very fond of the Tudor area and the time leading up to and during the War of the Roses. I am very interested to hear about history from a woman's point of view.I look forward to interacting with you all here!
