Though it's on British prehistory, I thought y'all would enjoy this fascinating lecture from UCL. A lot of it is covered in other books and documentaries including Stonehenge Decoded, but the last 10 or 15 minutes were especially interesting to me because of the information I hadn't heard before. It also has some insights as to where his research is leading in the future -- including excavation where he hypothesizes the original Stonehenge was built at Castell Mawr -- near the quarry sites. The new visitor centre opened this week. Whether you visit or not might depend on whether you agree with King Arthur Pendragon (great name!) about the display of human remains in there.

Thanks so much for posting this lecture.  Here in the U.S. a number of documentaries with Dr. Parker are shown on t.v. but I have not seen this with the most recent information. Fascinating stuff, to me at least.
