I… um… apparently annoyed the Chinese censors and am now blocked in China.  Is there anything I can do?

Talk more about how awesome China was and still is and how it played a pivotal if unacknowledged in anglo-saxon britain.

So how exactly did you find this out, Jamie? I imagined you getting this very polite and formal letter from the Chinese State Internet Information Office saying that your podcast was no longer welcome in the PRC.I mean, I can imagine they might have some concerns once the podcast made it into the Victorian Era with the Opium Wars and all that, so unless they just really, really dislike the Romano-British and the Anglo-Saxons, it could be some kind of preemptive measure on their part before you got that far.As for what to do? I don't even know if there is a mechanism in place to dispute such as decision by the SIIO. One website, https://unblock.cn.com/, offers a service using internet trickery to redirect internet users from China to an address that isn't blocked.

Have a party?  Is it the podcast or the website?  Or both? Or is it a general blocking of certain types of podcasts or your podcast specifically?  Sorry, I am by nature a problem solver, and I can't resist trying to solve problems.

It looks like they blocked mine specifically (both the site and the podcast feed).

Well the history of the British Empire and its relations with China isn't exactly pleasant.  The Boxer Rebellion and the Opium Wars, etc.  That is the only reason that I can figure out for the government blocking the site.
