I came across the podcast earlier this year after returning from my first trip to the UK. Immediately upon returning home I downloaded my first podcast (Rick Steves – had the travel bug). Learned I liked podcasts, so I started looking up tons for my various interests – scotch, archaeology, history, travel, and such. I downloaded this podcast back then, but just recently started listening. I'm addicted. In the past few days I've been binging episodes. Netflix is feeling neglected. I won't share the embarrassing number of episodes I've gone through in the past few days, but I still have so many to go! I don't want to catch up because I'm enjoying the journey, but want to be caught up to be able to engage with things as they develop. A smidge about me - I'm a PR person by trade, currently in a master's program for archaeology. Complete and utter Scotophile (and Anglophile) and looking forward to returning to Scotland in September for an archaeology conference and some travel. Glad to have learned so much from Jamie before my trip!

Hi Lisa, it's always so nice to hear from people who live in my corner of the world.  Welcome to the community and thank you for being such an enthusiastic member here and for writing in with suggestions of things going on here at home.  :)
