    Hello All,

My name is Katie Correia and I am a student of early modern British History. I’m a single mom and finishing up my BA at UCSB this June and will be starting grad school in August. (Yay!) I study religious and political radicalism, women and gender, and culture in 17th century England. I have a journal publication coming out this spring that focuses on the Fifth Monarchists from 1649-1660. My senior thesis is on British captivity and diplomacy in Algiers from 1625-1660, and my masters thesis will focus on the English family during the Civil Wars and the Interregnum (1642-1660), but that topic will be refined further later.

I’ve been a listener for a few years and finally was able to purchase a membership and am happy to be a part of the BHP community!
