Hi. My name is Gordon. I live in Scotland and have been a student of History for as long as I can remember. I really enjoy these Podcasts but I'm afraid I won't be able to take part in many discussions as I am blind and navigating websites is not easy, even with my special PC software. Howeverve, I thought I would say hello and also, with blatant self-publicity, let you know that, since I retired from work due to losing my eyesight, I have used my interest in British History to write a few novels. From adventures in Roman Britain to spoof murder mysteries in the Dark Ages, I hope that anyone who enjoys British history will like these stories. They are all available on Kindle and a couple are out in paperback in the UK. You should be able to find them by searching for Gordon Anthony on Amazon. You can get details from my own website http://www.gordonanthony.net  Sorry for the sales pitch but these stories have attracted a lot of favourable reader reviews, so I think I must b doing something right. And, so far, Jamie hasn't come up with much that has tripped up my background information in the stories.Well, that's enough from me. I'm off to listen to the latest Podcast on Feasting.Cheers.

Hi Gordon,Have you considered putting direct links to Amazon and Amazon.co.uk on your website for each of your books?  The way your site is organized right now, the user has to go to Amazon on his/her own and then do a search to find you.  If something gets mistyped, you might lose a potential interested reader.  Links would avoid that risk. It's just a thought.  Anyway, good luck and welcome to the forums!(oh, and I edited your subject line to fit in with the naming convention of this particular subforum)
