Are you changing the ranks when we leave the Romano British period?

Excellent question.  I've actually been toying around with that idea.  I was thinking that maybe members can choose whether to take on a new title or not.  For example, if you join while we're in the Romano-British period, you'd get the option of either remaining Dux or getting a new Anglo Saxon title.  But if you join when we get into the Anglo-Saxon period, you'll just have the Anglo-Saxon title.  Then when we get into the Danelaw area, there will be a new batch of titles, then again in the Norman one…Thoughts?

Oooh, you're evil.  I think I'd prefer a title from another period, but I'd also like to have it show that I was here from the start.  Decisions decisions!  ;D

I love the idea of the title reflecting when you joined!

I quite like that idea of having a choice to take a new title. Reckon I'd go for the Saxon one when it comes, heh.

Now that we're moving into Season Two, the titles will be changing.Members who sign up before the official switch (next week) will get access to the title Dux and the Celtic Badge.Celtic_badge.pngMembers who sign up after the official switch (next week) will only have access to the title Bretwalda the Saxon Badge. Saxon_badge.pngAdditionally, if you're have a Celtic Badge you can switch to a Saxon Badge, but you can't switch from Saxon to Celtic since they denote how long you've been part of the project.  :)  If you're a season 1 member and you'd like the Saxon badge, please send message me and let me know. Finally, the post-count titles have changed and are no longer Roman.  Just an FYI.

Hi, I'm new here. I like the idea that the date when you joined is made visibly in some way. I wonder what titles to use when we come to the modern times. I'm foreigner and am not deeply familiar with english society but I love to be Margret Thatchers driver or something like that. In the context of the Netherlands it would be very difficult to come op with list of titles for the modern times.Luckily we have some time. ;)I hope this is understandable as I'm heavily depending on Apple's inbuilt dictionary.Hugo_NLps its nice to be here.
