Ex-Pat Anglo-Celt from the lands of the Danegeld. I've loved history ever since my primary school trip to Chester when I was 8. Walking the city walls, seeing the remains of Roman villas in the rain. It made I big impact on me.I live in Ontario, close-ish to the Falls. This is a part of Canada rich in history from the Revolutionary War, Loyalist Settlement, War of 1812 etc, 1837 Rebellion(s), Fenian Raids and on.I got into podcasts as I'm too ADD to listen to music when I work out. Love the British History pc, History of England, History of English, The BBC History Magazine Podcast, In our Time (Melvyn Bragg) and of course the History of Rome.Jamie injects fun and enthusiasm into his podcasts. I particularly liked all the interaction with academics on the Staffordshire Hoard.Keep it up Jamie!

Welcome to the community, Brock!  And I'm glad you enjoyed the Staffordshire Hoard stuff.  I did too. :)
