In recent months I have become increasingly more interested in the history of Edward of Woddstock, Prince of Wales, more colourfully (chortle) known in later years as The Black Prince. Been searching around to find a really good biography. Short of reading Froissart’s actual account (which I know I should do), what’s the best modern book that pulls together all contemporary sources? Esp considering that things like the body counts at Limoges as reported by Froissart likely to be wildly embellished per other primary sources.

    Thanks in advance!
