I was at the British Museum over the weekend and visited the book shop to see if they had anything interesting. This book is authored by Geoffrey Hindley, I am not familiar with him. But it looked interesting after I thumbed through it. It is now the first Anglo-Saxon history book I have read. Is anyone else familiar with it?
I had to clear up something books in the queu before getting to this one. But I started it a couple of weeks ago and find it to be really great so far. The funny thing is reading the names. I can hear Jamie in my head as I read them. I am thankful that I do, because some of them are a little hard to figure out from the spellings alone.
