In 2014 I also visited South Wales and took a day trip to St David's Head in Pembrokeshire. The most interesting part by far was seeing the remains of a prehistoric settlement and the dolmen or burial structure there.I hiked up to the point and happened to meet a couple of fellow history buffs there. They very kindly showed me the circles of the old huts I'd just walked right through without noticing. Looking back inland from the point itself you can clearly make out the outlines of the old structures. He also told me that apparently in ancient times the trees would have grown right up to the shoreline so this would have been an amazingly secluded place. Not too far from from St David's head point is an ancient dolmen/cromlech.
