I'm going to say yes.It makes as much sense as belonging to the Organization of American States. The USofA has more in common with Australia and Britain than we do with Chile and Ecuador.Besides, when we made our trip to Britain this spring, while doing trip planning, I was disapointed to see how many reciprocity agreements that organizations like English Heritage and the National Trust have with other Commonwealth groups, but not with groups in the US.In other words, if you're a member of a Canadian provincial park, national park or some other group, you get free admission to a good many British heritage sites; but no reciprocity for US citizens.I think it is always a good thing to increase cultural ties between the English speaking nations.
