U.S., World, then American Government are the typical classes given to the history teachers. I can also be anything else that falls under “social studies” for the school district. Some schools offer more specialized and focused history courses, like classes for the World Wars. Just depends on what district I can get into, what special qualifications I get (ex. Advanced, IB-Honors certification). Currently I'd be better suited for U.S. but branching out the last year and a half that being able to do World wouldn't add too much of an extra-burden of learning mostly new material so that I could then turn around and teach students the same information.
