I've tried (I really have) to get into Cricket. I just don't get it. However, if we have a cricket/history nut in the community that would like to do an enthusiastic exploration into the sport, I wouldn't be opposed to it.
Think of cricket as baseball, except the batter keeps batting until he is out. Then you have break time called "Drinks" and another one called "Lunch" and another one called "Tea" and you realise only the English could invent a sport like this.It took me a while of watching this goofy game to understand it, probably doesn't help that I don't really like baseball. It is quintessentially English. And all ten current "Test Nations" were once in the British Empire. In last year's Cricket World Cup India and Pakistan faced each other in the Semifinals and South Asia stood still for a day.
