I, too, enjoy a good game of Civilization. I'm in the middle of a game of Civ 5 with a friend at the moment. I'm busy invading the two remaining civilizations of Carthage and Byzantium while my friend's off conquering the remaining city states. I'm still a novice, but it's all good fun.I recall reading somewhere that Civilization 5 differs from its predecessors in a bunch of ways. Sure, there's the further-simplified, more accessible interface and the change from squares of territory to hexagons of territory, but I found that it was rather interesting that the AI has, apparently, changed how it behaves. Again, I don't remember where I read this, but apparently in Civ 5, the AI has gone from trying to roleplay the civilizations they represent to acting more like a competing player trying to win.
