I am currently reading Nicholas and Alexandra right now. It's a great work by a great author, Robert K. Massie. Massie has produced so many good works concerning Russia. I think Russian history started out as somewhat of a personal interest for him and then developed into something really big. It started out with his son getting hemophilia and he read about the last Russian royal family and their challenges with Alexei their heir having hemophilia. Neat story. But yeah, Russian history is quite interesting and VERY bloody. My major is Russian language and literature, so I have researched a lot into this and hope to do so more in the future. I hope you find more resources!
