Anonymous is a link to a video put on YouTube that is all about how English was pronounced around the time of Shakespeare.  It uses Shakespeare's plays as an example to illustrate how English sounded back then.  I found it extremely fascinating.  English was not the non-rhotic language that it is today.  "R"s were regularly pronounced.  In my opinion, it almost sounds like the "pirate" accent that we hear today in swashbuckling movies haha!  I hope you enjoy it.  :)
