  1. I love that you two make fun of the sword making process in the show. In the book, it was a huge deal, a big process. The sword got named. It was a work of art. In the show, it was a Thundercat sword… As much as I’m enjoying the show, I too was painfully disappointed by the creation of Serpents Breath. She had no serpent breath.

    On the topic of living history, thanks for the love on that! Our group in Colorado have put together a functional, and portable, Scottish Highland village, complete with literally 4 tons of period tentage. It’s an amazing amount of work and research, so thanks for the living history shout out.

  2. im guessing that the white on the Cornish faces was a reference to the china clay around st Austell / Bodmin…
