181 – Vikingrs Gotta Viking

So I missed the part of whatever podcast it was in which you told us the difference between “vikings” and “vikingrs”. Yes, I know you’ve been talking about “vikingrs” for apparently the last three episode, but i didn’t even catch that until now. Please help.

Vikingr is what they called the people who went “aviking.” Viking is a modern term, but people tend to use it for “ancient scandinavian person” so I try to make it clear that Scandiniavians are Scandinavians and only those who go aviking are vikingrs.

Jamie some of the outgoing music that you use is really great. Do you have a list somewhere?

That was AWOLNation – Sail. And unfortunately I don’t have a list. The compilation of BHP songs that get referenced is probably best described as just “Jamie’s iPod”. Heh.

Well you should think about making a list somewhere, maybe in the forum?
